An exciting time, full of vivid emotions and impressions at the boarding private school in Bedford. Bedford, unique in its location, is surrounded by such cities as London, Oxford, Cambridge.

This makes it possible to include in the camp programme all the best scientific and cultural monuments of England. The territory includes sports infrastructure, educational and residential buildings, which are also extraordinary architectural structures.

There are:

Tennis court, football pitch, basketball courts, all-season gyms with exercise equipment or for table tennis and volleyball.

Round-the-clock security and video surveillance, as well as experienced tutors and a doctor who protect children's rest 24/7.

An area filled with green spaces, recreational squares and lawns for for traditional British entertainment.

Individual buildings with dining rooms - 3 meals a day

Accommodation

Bedrooms are equipped with necessary furniture, single beds, 2-4 campers per room.

Drinking water, towels, bed linen and hygiene products are regularly updated; Wet cleaning of rooms and common areas every three days.

Out of 15 days of the camp, 7 excursion days are planned in the best historical places in Bedford London, Oxford, Cambridge.

Bedford - one day

We'll see:

London - three days

We'll see:

Big Ben, Natural History Museum , Sherlock Holmes House, Royal Park in London, Sky Garden, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Palace of Westminster.

Oxford - one day

We'll see:

Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford University Parks, Magdalen College

Cambridge - two days

We'll see:

Fitzwilliam Museum, King's College Chapel, The River Cam, University of Cambridge.

As part of the new programme, the campers will do everything like real Brits:

Play British sports - football, croquet, basketball

To be a guest at a tea party with real lords and counts in their magnificent, mysterious castles

Cook and taste traditional English dishes with British chefs and learn tea ceremony etiquette in the tea room

Speak English at Jewel Camp and with local peers

Transfer

An escorted transfer is available at the camp. Railway transfer (at night): Kyiv - Lviv + Bus transfer (day + overnight): Lviv - Warsaw + Air transfer: Warsaw - camp and back, paid additionally (approximately from 400 euros both ways).

Necessary things to take

We will send parents an information brochure before the start of the camp. It will list the documents, clothes, and individual necessities that are required at the camp. We will also share our advice on what not to take with you to the camp, so as not to overload your suitcases.

Connecting with your child

Please note that campers will have a busy schedule and only one and a half hours of mobile phone use per day. During the rest of the day, there are classes and activities during which mobile phones are not allowed. During this time, they are stored in special boxes with the counsellor.

• I have a question about a visa to the UK. How can I get it if I buy a tour from you?

The organisers will help with visa issues and provide full support at every stage. Leave an application for the camp to get the organisers' contacts and more detailed advice.

• How much money should I plan for out-of-pocket expenses?

In all our children's group programmes, everything is included in the price: 3 meals a day, travel, entrance fees to excursions. Out-of-pocket expenses, such as souvenirs, water, snacks, shopping, etc. We advise you to plan: for accommodation in the residence - from 100 euros / week.

• Is there free Wi-Fi at the school?

Yes, all schools have both computer labs with free Internet access and wireless Wi-Fi Internet.

• Is the cost of excursions refunded if the child does not go on the excursion?

No. All group tours for children are package tours. All entertainment, excursions, tuition, meals, etc. are paid by us to the school in 100% amount BEFORE departure and there are no compensations after the group departure.

• When is the deadline for payment for the tour?

According to the agreement, 2 weeks before departure. In case of a delay in issuing a visa, payment is due immediately after receiving the visa. Any cash payments at the airport are excluded.

• Can a child go on an excursion on their own, spend a day without a group (sleep, watch movies, play on the computer, go shopping, go to a concert)?

In a group trip, this possibility is excluded for the safety of the child, as well as the expediency / usefulness of his/her pastime.

• When can a child be excluded from school?

Each school has simple and clear rules of behaviour that both children and the group leader. The reasons for expulsion from school and, as a result, the child's return home alone home early may be the following:

• Absenteeism from classes, excursions and events without a valid reason;
• Drinking alcohol in any form and in any quantity;
• Smoking;
• Racism;
• Aggressive behaviour, threats, humiliation of other children, fighting, violence;
• Theft;
• Failure to comply with school rules and laws of the host country.

• Where and when does the group meet with the leader, how do I get to know the leader and the group?

The meeting is scheduled 2.5 hours before departure at the airport, in the terminal from which the flight departs. The photo of the manager will be in the information sheet that we send 2 weeks before departure. Also at the airport you will be met by an employee of our company responsible for the group, he will conduct acquaintance with the leader, instructing children and parents on important issues: airport, luggage,discipline, etc.
